We represent policy-holders with business interruption claims following the COVID19 pandemic.

There are expected as many as 370,000 businesses who may potentially be able to claim on their business interruption insurance following losses caused by the pandemic. Insurers facing an unprecedented number of claims have in the main refused to make payments to policy holders. Whether or not an insurer is obliged to pay depends upon the wording of the policy of insurance. Policy holders will also need to prove the losses that they have suffered.

This page will be updated in respect of developments concerning the progress of COVID19 business interruption claims through the Courts as well as actions of regulators and media coverage.
